autocomplete doesn't work in the demo either, or am I misunderstanding something?
autocmplet is supposed to complete the search in the input field automatically like google e.g

To test autocomplete function,
Open this demo: https://www.gridphp.com/demo/demos/integrations/autocomplete.php
Double Click on any row and remove existing value of name field, and type something.
