how can i have a custom width for each field?I have 40 fields and i use $col["width"] = "??";.But all fields are shrinking so that can fit to the grid,although i have used $grid["shrink_to_fit"] = false;!I want all fields to be shown according to their custom width!Is this possible?

Correct notation is as follow. It should resolve your case.
$grid["shrinkToFit"] = false;
