Questionsgetting data in custom function
paago asked 10 years ago

The following case work perfectly

$Obj = new dbgetClass($dsn, $user, $password);
$col["condition"] = array('{colNme} > 2', $Obj->getSomething("7",'1'), "No");

But the following return blank

$Obj = new dbgetClass($dsn, $user, $password);
$col["condition"] = array('{colNme} > 2', $Obj->getSomething("7",'{colNme}'), "No");

the case below also return blank
$Obj = new dbgetClass($dsn, $user, $password);
$col["condition"] = array('{colNme} > 2', $Obj->getSomething("7",$row["colNme"]), "No");

thats because data cant be access in my custom function, how do i get the content in my custom function?

For extended conditional data, you can also have callback function, that will allow you to display based on row data. For e.g.

$col["on_data_display"] = array("display_keyword","");

function display_keyword($data)
{
$kw = $data["keyword_name"];
$numKeywords = count(explode("n",$pass));
if ($numKeywords > 3)
return $numKeywords." Keywords";
else
{
$pass = str_replace("+"," ",$pass);
return $pass;
}
}
