Using multi-selection (select-multiple), is there any way to set programmatically checked values?

Here you go …

<button onclick="test()" value="select">

<script>
function test()
{
$("select").multiselect("widget").find(":checkbox:eq(3)").each(function(){
this.click();
});
}
</script>

You can change jquery selector of checkbox to meet your requirement.
