After implementing icon representation in the row-wise action column, either using the method described by Richard or my own workaround described in the thread below

I have noticed an erratic behaviour: when double-clicking an element on the grid in order to edit it (in-cell editing), the action icons don't change for save/cancel and remain edit/delete, as they should (and as it happens when using the default literal representation of the actions.

Any idea why this happens and how it could be resolved?
