I'm studing dropdown_callback demo example.
When I add a record, in the edit panel there is a listbox with the names of the clients.
If I choose the 2nd item in list, gender and company inputbox automatically are filled but if I choose the first item (Maria Anders!), I have to fill manually gender and company fields.
Can I call "a callback" when edit panel is opened?

Here is the callback function of edit dialog:
$grid["edit_options"]["afterShowForm"] = 'function(formid) { …………… }';
$g->set_options($grid);
