I'd like to know it's possible to hide a column in grid view and if it's possible to show it inhe view form. I try this syntax, but it doesn't work.
col["show"] = array(
"list" : false,
"edit" : true,
"add": true,
"view" : true
);

The col["show"] property works with latest build of licensed version.
You can still use varun's solution.
$col["hidden"] = true;
$col["editable"] = true;
$col["editoptions"] = array("edithidden" => true);
