I need that when editing a record, pressing the reset key deletes the file it points to. Right now I can upload another file, but the previous one remains as garbage in the folder.

When you press reset button, it deletes the old file by an ajax call.

If it’s not deleting, You can check network tab of browser console and see if there is some error in that ajax call response.
