Solved this case via live chat.

Just to log the issue, there was security function that was removing POST variables of search query. Removing or Whitelisting enabled the search.

There could be multiple reasons. I would suggest to check browser debug console > network tab > response of search ajax call.

Debug console screenshot and related grid code will help in finding the issue.
