Is it possible to make a dropdown field dependent on another multiselect drop down? Basically, I'd like a multi-select field to be dependent/populated based on the selections from a related multi-select field on the same form.

Unable to understand what you mean by multi-select dropdown.
Can you paste some demo link or screenshot ?
Dependent dropdowns demos are placed in demo-center > appearance.
