OK so I have qTip working but its showing in every Column and I only want it to show in one. What are the valid jQuery selectors and how do I limit them… http://qtip2.com/guides lists
('[title]').qtip();
can be
('[title!=""]').qtip();
so i have tried
('[title!="Surname"]').qtip();
without luck…
my current code is….
function connect_qtip()
{
jQuery('[title]').qtip({
position: {
my: 'bottom left', // Position my top left…
at: 'top left' // at the bottom right of…
}
});
jQuery('[title]').qtip({
content: {
text: 'Surname must be ALL CAPS.'
}
});
}

You can use:
jQuery('[aria-describedby=list1_Surname]').qtip(…);
where list1 is grid id and Surname is column name.

OK so it now works on the GRID but what do i do to get them on an Edit or Add window?

You can connect qtip for dialog in afterShowForm event
$grid["add_options"]["afterShowForm"] = 'function(formid) { ….. }';
$g->set_options($grid);
Inside function, you can inspect using firebug or debugger f12 the element class selector for qtip.
