How do you invoke the refresh method for the multiselect widget such that when one control has filtered out some data, the second control only sees the filtered data and not the whole database?

This ticket somehow got missed.
This feature is not supported in current version.

As multiselect widget is 3rd party plugin, there are several limitations.
